Business hotel & U-Cook
Rungis, France
March 2020 Hotels
It is a hotel dressed in the colours of the night, for a public sleeping during the day after a busy night in the market of Rungis, a building contrasting with the surrounding architectures of offices and logistic buildings, by its facades structured on geometric declensions of the bay windows.
The hotel is imagined as a set of varied cells, placed on an active bedrock bringing together the activities of the place : a lobby, a friendly breakfast area and lounge with terrace on the ground floor, meeting rooms on the ground floor, a wall-garden (not yet done) oriented on a landscaped enclosure, arranged below the plot of the project, thus drawing from this singularity a quality of urban landscape.
The hotel is a viewpoint of Rungis, offering places of reception or rest, to a clientele of professionals and groups among the 25.000 tourists visiting Rungis each year, with an urban rooftop, a lounge terrace, meeting rooms on the ground floor, vegetable garden and a orchard, providing the university of cooking.
